Let’s talk about the technology that lies behind Playerself: Polygon.

Polygon is a scaling solution for EVM blockchains and aims to solve the scalability and usability issues while maintaining the same level of decentralization and security. Instead of running a proof of work consensus mechanism, Polygon uses proof of stake.

Why Polygon?

Despite the existence of valid public blockchains where to develop Playerself, we chose Polygon PoS chain because we wanted a user-friendly and EVM-compatible solution that would allow us to bridge over ETH 2.0 in the future if needed.
